About   Developmental Optometry and Vision Therapy

Your child has had a sight test and his vision is perfect. But he's falling behind at school, his handwriting is poor, or he struggles with the alphabet and reading.

Here are some pointers;

  • has headaches
  • has problems reading
  • blinks a lot when reading
  • rubs his eyes a lot
  • misspells words
  • sits awkwardly when writing
  • uses his finger as a pointer when reading
  • gets tired when reading

 A full assessment of your child's eyes is needed. Rena will assess your child's eyes and visual abilities  and how his eyes team together.She will then recommend various treatments; this could include spectacles, vision therapy, coloured overlays,precision tinted spectacles or syntonic phototherapy.
